Manatee County Teams Deliver Mixed Results in Week 9 High School Football Action
Manatee County high school football teams saw a mix of triumphs and tough losses during the week ending October 18, 2025, as district play continued across the region.
The Palmetto Tigers secured a decisive home victory over the Manatee Hurricanes, 31–13, in one of the county’s most anticipated rivalry matchups.
At Southeast High, the Seminoles earned a solid 28–15 win over the Braden River Pirates, using a balanced attack to pull ahead and secure the home-field victory.
Meanwhile, the Bradenton Christian Panthers dominated from start to finish, defeating The Classical Academy of Sarasota Patriots 40–6 in a non-district contest, marking one of the team’s most lopsided wins of the season.
In East Manatee, the Lakewood Ranch Mustangs powered past the Gateway Eagles 36–14, putting together a consistent offensive showing. The Parrish Community Bulls also picked up a win, edging the Lennard Longhorns 14–6 in a defensive battle.
Rounding out the week, the Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Falcons fell short in their matchup against the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks, 35–26, despite a strong effort that kept the game competitive.
With district standings tightening and playoff hopes on the line, Manatee County teams will look to build on these results as the regular season nears its close.
