Manatee County to Host Annual VA Benefits Meetings Across Five Locations
Manatee County is offering residents an opportunity to better understand Veterans Affairs benefits through a series of Annual VA Benefits Meetings scheduled throughout April at libraries across the county.
Hosted by Manatee County’s Veterans Services team, the meetings are designed to simplify what can often be a complex system of federal, state, and local benefits available to veterans and their families. Attendees will receive detailed information on programs including disability compensation, non-service-connected pension, health care, burial benefits, state-specific resources, and the Manatee Moves Veterans initiative.
Each session will feature the same presentation, allowing participants to attend the most convenient location and time.
Meeting dates and locations are as follows:
Saturday, April 4, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Braden River Library, 4915 53rd Ave. E., Bradenton
Tuesday, April 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at South Manatee Library, 6081 26th St. W., Bradenton
Tuesday, April 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lakewood Ranch Library, 16410 Rangeland Pkwy., Lakewood Ranch
Thursday, April 23, from 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Palmetto Branch Library, 923 6th St. W., Palmetto
Monday, April 27, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Central Library, 1301 Barcarrota Blvd. W., Bradenton
The initiative aims to ensure veterans and their families have clear access to the benefits they may be entitled to, while also connecting them with local resources and support services within the community.
