Manatee County to Host Community Town Hall on Water Quality and Drought Conditions
Manatee County officials are inviting residents to attend a community town hall focused on water quality and current drought conditions later this month.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Myakka City Community Center, located at 10060 Wauchula Road. The event will provide residents with information about local water quality issues, the effects of ongoing drought conditions, and an opportunity to learn more about current environmental conditions affecting the county.
County officials encourage residents, particularly those living in eastern Manatee County and surrounding areas, to participate in the discussion and ask questions about water resources and drought impacts.
Advance registration is required, and at least 10 people must register for the event to be held. Residents can register by visiting mymanatee.org/pstownhall.
