Manatee County to Host Housing Services Information Session and Legal Clinic at Central Library
Manatee County Government will host a Housing Services Information Session and Legal Assistance Clinic on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Central Branch Library in downtown Bradenton.
The event is designed to improve access to housing resources for residents facing financial hardship or housing instability. It brings together a range of Community Development partners to provide information, guidance, and direct support in one location.
During the information session, participating organizations will present overviews of available housing-related services and explain how residents can access assistance. Resources highlighted will include rental assistance programs, legal aid services, homelessness prevention support, housing rehabilitation opportunities, and education for first-time homebuyers, including down payment assistance programs.
Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Know Your Rights housing law clinic. The clinic will offer brief, one-on-one consultations with attorneys and paralegals to address individual housing concerns, helping residents better understand their legal rights and options.
The event reflects Manatee County’s continued efforts to connect residents with essential services and strengthen housing stability across the community. Light refreshments will be provided for attendees.
