Manatee County Volunteer Opportunity

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Sept. 30, 2024) – If the recent impacts of Hurricane Helene have moved you to ask, “How can I help..?”

Manatee County is organizing a community-wide volunteer effort to help fully assess our neighbors’ human needs.

• When: October 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd, 2024 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

• Location: Bradenton Area Convention Center, 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto
  (transportation to survey locations will be provided)

• Volunteers Needed: 300 per day

 
What to Expect:

• Training will be provided prior to beginning.

• Volunteers will work in pairs.

• Surveys will be conducted using digital devices and/or paper forms.

• Water, snacks, and lunch will be provided.
