Job Fair (August 27)
Manatee County is hosting a Job Fair on Wednesday, August 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Manatee Library (6081 26th Street West, Bradenton). Attendees can explore roles in Development Services and Utilities and speak with Talent Acquisition Specialists.

The Manatee Chamber of Commerce hosts a “MYP Behind the Scenes” event on August 27 open to young professionals across industries.
On August 28, the Coffee Club meets at Empath Health’s Tidewell Family Grief Center, offering networking over shared interests.
Bradenton-Area Volunteering & Workshops
Bradenton community offerings include a “Become a Turning Points Community Partner” volunteer opportunity on August 25 and 26, and a variety of meetups—like Lakewood Ranch Toastmasters, Tai Chi for seniors, and a Homeschool Open House on August 26

The Prince of Egypt: The Musical
Don’t miss this dramatic, inspirational stage production based on the Moses story, running August 24–31. Performances include evening shows on August 27, 28, and 29 at 7:30 p.m., plus matinee shows on August 30 and 31 at 2:00 p.m. at MPAC, 502 Third Avenue West, Bradenton.
MPAC Backstage Tour (August 26)
On Tuesday, August 26, at 11 a.m., MPAC is opening its doors for a Behind-the-Scenes Backstage Tour—perfect for theater lovers and families. Tours last about 45–60 minutes, covering costume shops, technical booths, VIP areas, and more. Pre-registration is required.

Dragon Fruit Watercolor Painting Class
On Wednesday, August 27, at 11 a.m., the Palma Sola Botanical Park will offer a Dragon Fruit Watercolor Painting class ($20) at 9800 17th Avenue Northwest, Bradenton. Proceeds support the nonprofit botanical gardens.
Turtle Tracks & Shorebird Facts Presentation

77th Annual Labor Day Regatta
