Manatee County’s Danielle Frazier Named 2025 CGFO of the Year
Danielle Frazier of Manatee County has been honored as the 2025 Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO) of the Year, a prestigious recognition awarded by the Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA). Frazier earned the top score among all candidates in the statewide certification program over the past year.
The CGFO designation is one of the highest professional achievements in Florida government finance. To qualify, candidates must meet strict educational and governmental accounting standards, provide two letters of recommendation—including one from a current CGFO—and pass the Florida State Ethics exam.
Candidates then complete five rigorous proficiency exams covering key areas of government finance. Each year, the individual who earns the highest composite score is honored at the FGFOA’s annual conference as CGFO of the Year.
Frazier’s achievement highlights not only her dedication and expertise in government finance but also brings significant recognition to Manatee County’s financial leadership. Her success sets a high standard for professionals across the state and reflects the county’s commitment to fiscal responsibility and excellence in public service.
