Manatee County’s Veterans Services Counselors: Bringing Benefits Information to the Community
Manatee County’s Veterans Services Counselors are committed to ensuring that local veterans and their families are informed about the benefits available to them. In addition to offering services at their office, these dedicated professionals are actively reaching out to the community by attending outreach events, often during evenings and weekends.
Their goal is to connect with veterans who may not have been able to visit the office during regular hours. These counselors provide essential information about veteran benefits, healthcare options, and other support services that can make a significant difference in the lives of veterans and their loved ones.
Local homeowners associations (HOAs) and community groups are encouraged to invite Veterans Services Counselors to their upcoming meetings. This will give veterans within the community an opportunity to learn more about the resources available to them without needing to travel to the office.
For those interested in hosting a presentation, the Veterans Services office can be reached at (941) 745-3795 or via email at vets@mymanatee.org. By bringing these services directly to local veterans, Manatee County is continuing its mission to honor and support those who have served.
