Manatee Deputies Seek Suspect Accused of Unlicensed Contracting and Electrical Work
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Issac Eddington, who is wanted on charges related to unlicensed contracting and electrical work.
According to the sheriff’s office, Eddington is accused of acting in the capacity of a contractor without being registered or certified, as well as performing work as an electrical contractor without the required state licensing. Investigators say the violations stem from reports that he represented himself as a qualified professional and performed, or attempted to perform, services that legally require proper certification.
Deputies are urging anyone who has seen Eddington or knows his whereabouts to come forward. Tips can be reported directly to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office by calling (941) 747-3011. Anonymous information can be submitted to CrimeStoppers of Manatee County at 1-866-634-TIPS.
Authorities emphasize the importance of hiring licensed professionals, noting that unlicensed contracting can lead to unsafe work, financial loss, and potential hazards—especially in electrical work.
The investigation remains ongoing.
