Manatee Elementary Celebrates 100 Years of Mustang Pride and Educational Excellence

The school’s centennial celebration brought together alumni, educators, community leaders, and supporters to honor a rich history spanning more than 100 years. As part of the celebration, Centennial Historian Jahkori Dopwell Hall carefully examined decades of school yearbooks, collecting photographs and historical images to create a commemorative slideshow. The Centennial Gala Reception opened with remarks emphasizing the importance of preserving the school’s legacy and ensuring that future generations understand the impact Manatee Elementary has had on the community throughout its history.
During the Honoree Awards Ceremony, distinguished guests, alumni, former educators, and current staff members were recognized for their dedication and service to the school. Awards, including Mustang for Life, Distinguished Alumni, Heart of Hospitality, and Footprints of Excellence celebrated individuals whose contributions have left a lasting mark on the school’s culture and success.
