Manatee High Advances to Regional Finals as Local Teams Wrap Up Weekend Games
Manatee County high school football teams completed another week of postseason and late-season play, highlighted by the Manatee Hurricanes’ strong performance that secured their place in the next round of the playoffs.
Manatee earned a 55–29 victory over Cape Coral, moving on to Round 3 and into the Regional Finals. The Hurricanes maintained control throughout the matchup, continuing the momentum they have built during the postseason.
Other scores from the weekend include:
Bradenton Christian Varsity Boys Football
Real Life Christian Academy Raptors 38
Bradenton Christian Panthers 14
Bradenton Christian concluded its game with two touchdowns but was unable to match the scoring pace set by Real Life Christian Academy.
Bayshore Varsity Boys Football
Booker Tornadoes 68
Bayshore Bruins 0
Booker delivered a dominant performance, steadily extending its lead while limiting Bayshore’s offensive chances.
Palmetto Varsity Boys Football
Mitchell Mustangs 9
Palmetto Tigers 7
Palmetto came up short in a defensive battle that remained close from start to finish. A late push was not enough to overcome the two-point margin.
With these results now final, Manatee High stands as the remaining local team advancing in the postseason and will prepare for the Regional Finals in the coming week.
