Manatee Libraries Offer Free Access to Recording Studios at Two Locations
Aspiring podcasters, content creators, and musicians in Manatee County now have a valuable resource at their fingertips—free recording studio access at two public library branches. The Central Library in downtown Bradenton and the new Lakewood Ranch Library offer fully equipped recording spaces, available by reservation to library cardholders.
These creative studios are outfitted with professional-grade tools, including Mac computers, GarageBand, iMovie, and RØDE microphones, providing a user-friendly audio and video production environment. Whether you're launching a podcast, editing a video, or exploring digital storytelling, the library’s resources are designed to support all experience levels.
Reservations can be made by calling the Central Library at (941) 748-5555 or emailing programming@mymanatee.org. Those interested in the Lakewood Ranch Library location can call (941) 742-4500 or book online at bit.ly/4d1pZkY.
This initiative reflects Manatee County Public Library System’s ongoing commitment to supporting creativity, education, and digital literacy throughout the community.
