Manatee Performing Arts Center Announces Auditions for Four Upcoming Productions
The Manatee Performing Arts Center is preparing to hold auditions for four upcoming productions and is inviting both new and returning performers to take the stage.
Auditions are scheduled for Sept. 20 and 21 for Come From Away, Alice By Heart, The Da Vinci Code and Appropriate.
The auditions offer opportunities for performers interested in a range of theatrical styles, from musicals to mystery and drama. The Manatee Performing Arts Center is encouraging experienced performers as well as newcomers who have not previously appeared on its stage to participate.
Come From Away is a musical inspired by the thousands of airline passengers diverted to the small community of Gander, Newfoundland, following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Alice By Heart is a musical inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, while The Da Vinci Code brings Dan Brown’s bestselling mystery thriller to the stage.
Appropriate is a family drama centered on siblings who reunite at their late father’s Arkansas home and confront discoveries about their family and its past.
