The Manatee Performing Arts Center in downtown Bradenton will offer a variety of entertainment throughout November 2026, featuring Broadway musicals, contemporary jazz, dance performances and an interactive musical experience celebrating traditional sea shanties.
The month begins Sunday, November 1, with the final performances of two musicals that opened in October.
Dear Evan Hansen, presented in Stone Hall, concludes its run November 1 at 2 p.m. The Tony Award-winning musical follows a socially isolated teenager whose search for acceptance leads to unexpected consequences. The production explores themes of identity, honesty, mental health and human connection.
Carrie: The Musical also concludes November 1 with a 2 p.m. performance in the Bradenton Kiwanis Theater. Based on Stephen King’s novel, the musical follows a bullied teenager who discovers extraordinary powers while struggling with isolation and an oppressive home life. Both productions contain mature themes.
On Saturday, November 7, at 7 p.m., the NuJazz Band returns for its Annual Winter Holiday Show. The Bradenton/Sarasota-based contemporary jazz group will perform a combination of smooth jazz, Motown, R&B and seasonal favorites. The concert will feature music inspired by artists including The Rippingtons, Richard Elliot, Peter White, Spyro Gyra and Boney James.
The performance will also support a community cause, with net proceeds benefiting MCR Health and its efforts to provide access to health care services.
Dance takes center stage on Sunday, November 15, at 7 p.m., when Platinum Superstars Dance Factory presents A Trip Around the World: The Legacy Tour. The production celebrates the organization’s past, present and future through a variety of dance styles, highlighting its artistic development and performers.
The month’s final scheduled performance takes place Tuesday, November 17, with shows at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., when The Old Time Sailors bring an interactive musical experience to the theater.
The touring ensemble transports audiences to the 19th century through traditional maritime folk songs, sea shanties and an assortment of historical instruments. The performance encourages audience participation, including singing and dancing, while recreating the atmosphere of an old-fashioned gathering of sailors.
The November schedule provides audiences with opportunities to experience several forms of live entertainment before the performing arts center begins its holiday theater programming in December. The next major musical production, Anastasia, is scheduled for December 3–13.
All November performances will take place at the Manatee Performing Arts Center, located at 502 Third Avenue West in downtown Bradenton.
Tickets and additional performance information are available through the Manatee Performing Arts Center’s official website or by calling the box office at 941-748-5875.
