The Manatee Regional Science and Engineering Fair is preparing for its 2027 event and inviting community members, professionals, and local businesses to help support the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.
The annual event is scheduled for February 12, 2027, at the Manatee County Fairgrounds, bringing together students from across Manatee County to showcase their scientific research, experiments, and engineering projects.
Organized with the School District of Manatee County, the fair provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate their creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of scientific principles.
The Manatee Regional Science and Engineering Fair Planning Committee is currently seeking volunteer judges and sponsors to help make the event successful. Judges are needed to evaluate projects at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Individuals with backgrounds in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and related fields are encouraged to participate. Volunteers with varying levels of scientific experience are welcome.
In addition to volunteer judges, the committee is seeking sponsors interested in supporting educational opportunities for local students. Community partnerships play an important role in providing students with opportunities to explore scientific interests and share their discoveries.
