Manatee School for the Arts HOSA Team Earns Record-Breaking Wins at State Championship
The HOSA team from Manatee School for the Arts (MSA) has returned from the Florida State Leadership Conference with its most successful results to date. Twelve students placed in the top three across a range of competitive health science events, making them among the best in the state out of more than 30,000 Florida HOSA members.
HOSA—Future Health Professionals—is an international student organization that prepares emerging leaders for careers in the healthcare field. Through rigorous competition, real-world scenarios, and teamwork, HOSA empowers students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in health-related professions.

The team competed against the top 4,500 students in the state. In total, 35 students from MSA traveled to the event, with many finishing in the top 16 of their respective categories. Their performance marks an incredible milestone for the charter school and its expanding health science programs.
Manatee School for the Arts, founded in 1998, is a public charter school in Palmetto, Florida, serving students in grades 6 through 12. With a mission to cultivate academic and artistic excellence, MSA offers specialized programs in visual arts, dance, music, theater, and emerging career fields such as health sciences. Over the years, the school has gained recognition for its commitment to student achievement, creativity, and career readiness.
