Manatee Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help Locating Missing Endangered Man

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing endangered man last seen on Anna Maria Island.

Detectives say 56-year-old Daniel Novi left the 300 block of Pine Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Friday, August 15, driving a beige 2000 Toyota Camry with Florida tag Z61HXX. Shortly afterward, he sent messages indicating he might harm himself.

Novi is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt with cartoon figures and shorts. Investigators have learned that he may have traveled to Hernando County later in the afternoon.
