The Manatee County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit will welcome elite law enforcement teams from across the country this fall as it hosts the 2025 United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) Police Dog 1 National Field Trials. The prestigious competition will occur in Bradenton from November 9 through November 14, 2025.

The event is free and open to the public, offering residents a unique opportunity to observe the skills and discipline of K9 units in action. Spectators will also learn how these specialized teams assist law enforcement in daily operations and critical incidents.
In addition to public demonstrations, the trials will serve as a nationwide networking and educational platform for agencies, with handlers sharing techniques, experiences, and innovations in K9 policing.
