Manatee Tiger Bay Club to Host Constitutional Officer Update Event on March 26
The Manatee Tiger Bay Club will host a Constitutional Officer Update luncheon on Thursday, March 26, providing an opportunity for community members to hear directly from key county officials about developments affecting Manatee County.
The event will feature presentations from Michael Gallen, general counsel and director of human resources for the Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court & Comptroller; Scott Farrington, supervisor of elections for Manatee County; and Charles Hackney, the county’s property appraiser.
During the program, the constitutional officers are expected to share updates on their offices, discuss upcoming changes, and provide insights into how their departments operate and serve the public. The event is designed to keep residents informed about local government operations and the responsibilities of constitutional officers who play a critical role in managing elections, maintaining official records, overseeing financial accountability, and assessing property values.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about county government while engaging with local leaders and community members.
Organizers say the event is intended to promote transparency, civic engagement, and public understanding of how constitutional offices impact daily life across the community.
Those interested in attending can register in advance through the Manatee Tiger Bay Club website.
