The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team and Marine Unit recently worked together to recover a submerged truck from Lake Manatee.
The Dive Team responded after receiving reports of a vehicle underwater and conducted an inspection beneath the surface. Divers determined there were no indications of foul play associated with the truck.
After completing the inspection, the Dive Team coordinated with the MCSO Marine Unit to safely recover the vehicle from the lake.
The operation also provided deputies with hands-on training in underwater inspections and vehicle recovery while helping keep local waterways safe and clear.
