Meals on Wheels PLUS Expands Summer Food Distributions Across Manatee County
Families in Manatee County can count on fresh meals and produce this summer, thanks to expanded Food4Families and Mobile Produce Pantry distributions from Meals on Wheels PLUS and The Food Bank of Manatee.
Beginning June 6 and running through August 1, the Food4Families program will deliver boxes containing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners each Friday at newly added distribution sites. These boxes are designed to feed a family of five for at least two days. The Friday, July 4 distribution will take place early, on Thursday, July 3.
New weekly food distribution locations and times include:
Manatee Mobile Home Park – 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
2204 Manatee Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34208Turner Chapel – 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
317 11th St W, Palmetto, FL 34221Pride Park – 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
6032 9th St E, Bradenton, FL 34203Lincoln Park – 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

In addition, the Mobile Produce Pantry will deliver fresh fruits and vegetables directly to neighborhoods on June 18, July 17, and August 21. Each event runs on Thursday, except for the June 19 distribution, which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18.

Samoset First Baptist Church – 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
