Meals On Wheels Plus Partners With Redeemer Lutheran Church to Open New Friendship Dining Center Location to Serve West Bradenton Seniors
Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee is proud to announce the expansion of its Friendship Dining Center program with multiple locations across Manatee County, increasing access to nutritious meals and meaningful social engagement for older adults.
On April 10, 2026, from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, the community is invited to stop by an Open House to learn more about our newest Friendship Dining Center location at Redeemer Lutheran Church. The church is located at 6311 3rd Ave. West in Bradenton, Florida.
The Friendship Dining Center program is designed to do more than provide a healthy meal—it creates a welcoming space where seniors can connect, build friendships, and stay active. With a strong focus on reducing social isolation, each location offers opportunities to enjoy group activities, engage in conversation, and participate in enriching experiences.
Guests can take part in activities such as card games, group discussions, and presentations from guest speakers, all while enjoying a nutritious meal in a friendly and supportive environment.
