Missing Bradenton Teen Located Safe Weeks After Disappearance
A 14-year-old girl who had been missing since late March in Bradenton has been found safe, according to officials with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Surianneylis Perez-Sanchez was located on April 11, relieving a search effort that began after she was last seen on March 27 near the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Avenue in Bradenton. Authorities had issued a missing child alert shortly after her disappearance.
Perez-Sanchez had been believed to be traveling with another 14-year-old girl, Marlen Daniela Cordona-Barahona, who was also reported missing the following day. Cordona-Barahona was found on April 2, but the search for Perez-Sanchez continued until her safe recovery on Friday.
At this time, officials have not released further details regarding the circumstances of the girls’ disappearance or how they were found. The FDLE confirmed both teens have now been accounted for and are safe.
