Missing Endangered Juvenile Reported in Lakewood Ranch

UPDATE: Liam has been located and is safe.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered juvenile last seen Sunday afternoon in Lakewood Ranch.

Fourteen-year-old Liam Chase was last seen at approximately 12:25 p.m. on January 4, 2026, after running away from his home in the 8100 block of Natures Way. Authorities believe Liam may be traveling toward Sarasota County.

Liam is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing black pants, a black hoodie, and a camouflage hat.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone who may have seen Liam or has information about his whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately. Tips can be reported by calling (941) 747-3011.
