Mixon Farms Market Seeks Vendors for New Monthly Farmers Market Series

Manatee County is now accepting vendor applications for a new monthly farmers market at Mixon Farms in Bradenton, offering local growers, artisans, food vendors, and nonprofits an opportunity to participate in a community-focused marketplace this spring.

The Mixon Farms Market will debut with three scheduled dates: March 15, April 19, and May 17. The market will be held at Mixon Farms, 2525 27th Street East, and is planned as a recurring event to highlight local products, agriculture, and small businesses, while creating a family-friendly destination for residents and visitors.

County officials noted that nonprofit organizations are eligible for a discounted vendor fee, encouraging broad participation from community groups alongside traditional market vendors. The market will feature local vendors and is expected to include additional attractions, such as live music and agricultural-themed activities, to create an engaging atmosphere for shoppers.
