Manatee County leaders celebrated the grand opening of Mixon Farms Park on Sunday, welcoming residents with the site’s first monthly farmers market and marking the transformation of one of the area’s most historic agricultural landmarks into a new community gathering place.
I happen to be at that grand opening. What a wonderful facility and my only concern would be if you’re going to call it a farmers market you should have more farmer market stands like vegetables, fruit, fruits, which there was very little of so hopefully that will improve overtime other than that a great facility.
