Mixon Farms to Launch Crafty Critters Nature and Craft Series for Young Children
Families with young children will have a new opportunity to combine creativity, nature, and hands-on learning this summer with the launch of the Crafty Critters series at Mixon Farms in Bradenton.
Designed for Pre-K and elementary-aged children, the weekly program will feature interactive learning lessons focused on nature, themed crafts to take home, and time for participants to explore and discover the farm’s surroundings in a fun and engaging environment.
Crafty Critters will be held on Thursdays, July 16, July 23, July 30, and Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mixon Farms, located at 2525 27th St. E. in Bradenton.
Each session costs $10 per child. Pre-registration is required to attend, as space is limited.
The program aims to encourage curiosity, imagination, and outdoor exploration while providing children with age-appropriate educational activities in a natural setting. Families interested in participating are encouraged to register in advance to reserve a spot.
