The Palmetto Marriott Resort & Spa invites the community to kick off the Movement Market on Friday, October 18th, for a full morning of feel-good fitness, creative expression, and charitable giving.
Designed for everybody and every fitness level, the Movement Market features a dynamic lineup of classes and activities that inspire movement and mindfulness—all while raising funds for a cause that matters. 100% of class pass proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Guests can enjoy more than just great workouts: take a swing at the Dryvebox Mobile Golf Simulator, chill out with ice plunges, sip on refreshing smoothies from Life & Food Superstore, and move to the beats of DJ Gigi—all in the scenic setting of the Palmetto Marriott.
Event Schedule
8:00 AM – Black Jack Fun Run
It’s not your average 5K! The Black Jack Fun Run mixes fitness with fun—run loops, draw cards, and build your hand to 21 without busting. A lively way to start your morning and connect with the community.
8:15 AM – HIIT The Yard
Join Coach Nick for a fast, high-energy session that combines strength, cardio, and endurance. Designed for all skill levels—sweat, push your limits, and leave feeling unstoppable.
9:15 AM – Mat Pilates with Club Pilates Parrish
Focus on your breath, core, and control with this mindful full-body Pilates class. Perfect for increasing mobility, balance, and strength.
10:15 AM – Jazzercise with Kathy Matthews
Dance like no one’s watching! Experience the joy of Jazzercise—a total-body workout that blends dance cardio, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing in one feel-good class.
10:30 AM – Raices Art Therapy Session
Unleash your creativity in this guided art therapy workshop for adults and children. Connect, express, and heal through art in a welcoming, stress-free environment.
