Multicultural Festival Weekend Brings Music, Culture, and Community Together in Palmetto
Palmetto will come alive with music, food, faith, and fellowship as the annual Multicultural Festival Weekend returns, featuring three days of events celebrating diversity and bringing the community together beginning on February 13th.
The weekend kicks off Friday with a high school garage band competition, giving young musicians a chance to showcase their talent on stage. Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, relax, and enjoy an evening of live music as students compete in a fun, high-energy setting that highlights emerging local talent.
Festivities continue Saturday with a free, family-friendly multicultural festival featuring a vibrant mix of vendors, live performers, and interactive activities for children. Attendees can explore cultural traditions from around the world through music, dance, food, and art, creating an inclusive atmosphere that welcomes residents and visitors of all ages.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, February 15, 2026, with the Unity in the Community prayer and worship brunch, scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This gathering offers a reflective and uplifting close to the celebration, bringing together faith leaders, community members, and families for shared prayer, worship, and connection.
Together, the three-day Multicultural Festival Weekend highlights Palmetto’s commitment to unity, youth engagement, and cultural appreciation, making it a signature community event that blends entertainment with meaningful opportunities to connect.
