Construction continues on the future Bradenton Police Department headquarters, with crews making visible progress on both the exterior and interior of the new facility.
Recent work includes the installation of floor-to-ceiling glass in the building’s main lobby. Exterior construction is continuing while crews inside prepare portions of the facility for painting and work toward bringing the building fully under air.
The new headquarters will encompass approximately 50,399 square feet and is being designed to consolidate a range of police operations into a modern facility.
Plans for the building include dedicated areas for patrol operations, administrative services, records, property and evidence, training and meetings. The headquarters will also include a Real Time Crime Center, providing space for technology and resources used to support law enforcement operations.
Public access is another component of the project, with the new headquarters expected to provide improved areas for residents who need to conduct business with the Bradenton Police Department or access police services.
The facility represents a significant upgrade for the department as Bradenton continues to grow and public safety needs evolve.
Construction remains on schedule, with completion expected by the end of 2026.
