Residents of North River Manatee County are invited to participate in a community conversation on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, to share their perspectives on the region’s growth, community priorities, and shared spaces.
The Community & Shared Spaces Conversation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dogs Inc Student Center, located at 4210 77th Street East in Palmetto.
The event is part of the Growing Together in North River Manatee County initiative, a collaborative effort involving the Bishop-Parker Foundation, The Patterson Foundation, and the Harwood Institute for Public Innovation.
As North River Manatee County continues to experience rapid growth, organizers are seeking input from residents to better understand community needs, identify shared priorities, and explore opportunities for meaningful improvements.
The discussion will focus on listening to residents, identifying common goals, encouraging collaboration, and building on existing community strengths and resources. Organizers hope the conversations will help guide community-led efforts that reflect the priorities of those who live and work in the area.
Community members are encouraged to participate and contribute their experiences and ideas. Light refreshments will be provided.
Advance registration is requested and is available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5KFTQMK.
