One Stop Housing to Celebrate Grand Opening of 182-Unit Workforce Housing Community in Bradenton
A new workforce housing community aimed at providing attainable living options for working families and local employees is set to open in Bradenton next month.
One Stop Housing will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Nest at Robins Apartments on Friday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to noon at 2303 1st Street in Bradenton.
The newly completed development includes 182 apartment units designed for workforce housing, with all apartments priced at or below 80% of the Area Median Income for Manatee County. Monthly rents begin at $1,170 and include utilities.
The apartment community offers a mix of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. A portion of the apartments has been designated for first responders, Hometown Heroes and employees of the Manatee County School District.
Community amenities include on-site management, security services, valet trash pickup and a 24-hour package delivery room.
According to the developer, the project was created to address the growing need for affordable and attainable housing options in the Bradenton area as housing costs continue to rise across the region.
The ribbon-cutting event is expected to include community leaders, project partners and members of the public celebrating the opening of the new housing community.
One Stop Housing develops workforce and affordable housing communities throughout Florida and Tennessee and partners with One Stop Cares to provide educational and community support programs.
