One Year Later: Search Continues for Missing Bradenton Teen Kaitlyn “Katie” Sandt
It has been a year since 19-year-old Kaitlyn “Katie” Sandt was last seen, and her family continues to search for answers.
Sandt disappeared on October 30, 2024, when she was 18. Her mother, Christina Sandt, reported that in the months before her disappearance, Katie began spending more time away from home and was frequently seen in the area of 18th Street in Bradenton. Despite those changes, her family said she stayed in regular contact until the messages suddenly stopped.
After two weeks without communication, her family reported her missing to the Bradenton Police Department, which officially filed a missing persons report in November 2024. Christina Sandt has expressed concern about the people her daughter may have been spending time with before she vanished.
Authorities have not released new developments in the case. Community members and volunteers continue to share information about Katie in the hope that someone will come forward with a lead.
Anyone with information about the disappearance of Kaitlyn “Katie” Sandt is asked to contact the Bradenton Police Department at 941-932-9300 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-866-634-TIPS.
