OSSIO Relocates U.S. Headquarters to Palmetto, Plans Manufacturing Launch in 2026
PALMETTO — Mayor Dan West of Palmetto recently welcomed OSSIO, an Israel-based orthopedics company, to its new U.S. headquarters in the city. The company, which develops fixation implants to stabilize bones, has relocated into 30,000 square feet of leased space at the Florida International Tradeport, located near the U.S. 301/I-75 interchange.
OSSIO plans to begin manufacturing at the Palmetto facility next spring and anticipates hiring 100 employees over the next five years. The site will also include a surgeon training center and state-of-the-art manufacturing operations.
Local leaders see the relocation as both a boost to Palmetto’s economic landscape and a milestone for the region’s growing life sciences sector. The company’s presence is expected to bring new career opportunities, advanced medical innovation, and long-term investment in the community.
By establishing its headquarters in Palmetto, OSSIO aims to create a hub for orthopedic technology that integrates workforce development, training, and cutting-edge production.
