Overnight Detours on I-75 for 44th Avenue East Extension Project

Bradenton, FL – As part of the ongoing 44th Avenue East Extension Project No. 6, overnight detours will be in place for southbound traffic on I-75 from September 9 to 13. The detours are scheduled between 11:00 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. each night while contractors place structural steel girders for the new bridge over the southbound lanes.

During the closure, motorists traveling south on I-75 will be directed to exit at SR 64. Traffic will then proceed east on SR 64 to Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, head south on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, and take SR 70 west to re-enter I-75 southbound.
