Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled on 75th Street West for Improvement Project
Motorists traveling on 75th Street West should plan for temporary overnight lane closures as construction crews continue work on a major roadway improvement project in west Bradenton.
Manatee County has announced that southbound lane closures will be in place nightly from June 14 through June 26 between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. The affected area extends along 75th Street West from Manatee Avenue West south to 19th Avenue West.
The closures are needed to allow crews to install a reclaimed water line as part of the ongoing 75th Street West Improvements project. Stationed flaggers will be present throughout the work zone to direct traffic and help maintain safe vehicle movement during construction.
County officials expect the work to have minimal impact on traffic, but drivers may encounter construction vehicles, heavy equipment, temporary lighting and increased noise levels during overnight hours.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down, remain alert and follow directions from flaggers while traveling through the area.
The improvement project is designed to enhance infrastructure and utility services along the corridor. Additional information about the project is available at mymanatee.org/75th.
