Palmetto Boys & Girls Club Unveils Teen Center Makeover
Thanks to a partnership with Aaron's, the Palmetto Boys & Girls Club at 1600 10th Street West has undergone a major transformation. The newly renovated teen center now features upgraded furniture, arcade games, gaming systems, computers, and even cosmetology booths—amenities chosen by the teens themselves to create a space tailored to their interests.
Aaron’s has committed $11 million to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and selected the Palmetto location as its 65th renovation since 2015. These makeovers aim to increase membership and provide teens with a safe and engaging environment.
Work on the $20,000 renovation began on Tuesday, February 25, and was completed in just over a day, ready for students by the afternoon of February 26. Originally built 16 years ago, the Palmetto Boys & Girls Club now offers an upgraded space designed to inspire and support the next generation.
