Palmetto Church Hosts Back-to-School Giveaway to Support Local Students

PALMETTO, Fla. — As the new school year approaches, Christ The King Ministries is inviting families to a special Back-to-School Giveaway event on Saturday, August 2, 2025. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 801 8th Ave W in Palmetto and aims to unite the community in faith, fellowship, and service.

This free event will provide backpacks, school supplies, and food to local students and their families—while supplies last. In addition to the giveaway, the day will feature family-friendly activities and a special moment of prayer and encouragement to uplift students before they head back to class.

Organizers say their mission is to bless and equip students in the community with the tools, support, and confidence they need to succeed academically and personally.
