Palmetto CRA Seeks Applicants for Community Advisory Board
PALMETTO — The City of Palmetto’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) actively seeks dedicated residents to serve on the CRA Advisory Board (CRAAB). This voluntary position plays a vital role in shaping the future of redevelopment initiatives across the city.
This opportunity is open to residents who live within the city limits and want to help guide the CRA’s mission of revitalizing and enhancing Palmetto’s neighborhoods. Board members will review proposed projects and programs, assess redevelopment initiatives, and make strategic recommendations directly to the CRA Board.
The advisory board is an essential voice in the community redevelopment process, helping to ensure that CRA efforts reflect the priorities and needs of the people they serve. From infrastructure improvements and economic development to housing and beautification projects, CRAAB members shape policies that strengthen Palmetto’s urban core and commercial areas.
Applicants should have a strong connection to the community and a desire to foster growth, sustainability, and equity in Palmetto. While no professional experience is required, those with knowledge in planning, development, or community engagement are encouraged to apply.
The position will remain open until filled. To apply, interested residents can access the application online by scanning the QR code on the official CRA flyer or visiting the following link:
