Palmetto CRA to Host Community Engagement Workshop June 26
The Palmetto Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is inviting residents to a special Community Engagement Workshop this Thursday, June 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Palmetto Youth Center, located at 501 17th Street West.
The public meeting is an opportunity for community members to learn more about the CRA's ongoing efforts, current partnerships, and future plans to enhance the Palmetto area. A formal presentation by the CRA will begin at 6 p.m., and attendees will have the chance to ask questions, provide feedback, and interact with board members and representatives.
Topics will include updates on partnerships with Rebuilding Together Greater Florida, Palmetto Downtown Main Street, Freebee, Keep Manatee Beautiful, and a prospective collaboration with Legal Aid of Manasota. The workshop will also provide valuable information on homestead exemptions and title clearing for residents who have recently transferred property ownership.
Members of the CRA Board and the CRA Advisory Board (CRAAB) will be present to engage with attendees, hear concerns, and discuss upcoming initiatives. Food and refreshments will be provided.
Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in shaping the future of their community through open dialogue and shared vision.
