Palmetto Downtown Main Street Joins Manatee County Veterans Council and City of Palmetto to Host Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony
Palmetto Downtown Main Street is proud to join the Manatee County Veterans Council and the City of Palmetto in hosting the annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025. The community is invited to come together to honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans.
The day’s events will begin with a Veterans Day Ceremony at Sutton Park Stage at 11:00 AM. The ceremony will feature remarks from Edward Valdez, Veteran and Military Liaison for Congressman Vern Buchanan’s office, as the keynote guest speaker.
Following the ceremony, the Veterans Day Parade will start movement from the Manatee County Fairgrounds at 11:30 AM, concluding at Sutton Park. The parade will include local Veteran Organizations, JROTC units, high school and community bands, and civic groups marching in honor of America’s heroes.
“Veterans Day is a time for us to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who have worn the uniform in defense of our freedoms,” said Karon Dixon, Executive Director of Palmetto Downtown Main Street. “We invite the entire community to join us in showing gratitude and respect for our veterans.”
