Palmetto Downtown Main Street Launches Inaugural Motor Fest in the Heart of Historic Downtown
Palmetto Downtown Main Street is proud to host its Inaugural Motor Fest on Saturday, February 7, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the heart of downtown Palmetto at Sutton Park and Lamb Park. This family-friendly event brings the community together for a full day of entertainment, local flavor, and downtown pride.
Motor Fest will feature a curated selection of food and craft vendors, along with scheduled live entertainment throughout the day. Designed for all ages, the event offers a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors to gather and enjoy historic downtown Palmetto.
Palmetto Downtown Main Street extends its sincere appreciation to Title Sponsor Detweiler’s, whose generous support helped make the inaugural event possible. Additional thanks go to the event’s sponsors for their commitment to community investment and downtown revitalization, including Grease Monkey, Top Shop, Hardball Law, DNA Restomods, Reliable Insurance, VFW Post 2488, JG Designs, Alliance Print Services, and Racers & Rods.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item in support of Feeding Empty Little Tummies, helping address food insecurity for local children. Proceeds and community support generated through Motor Fest will also contribute directly to Palmetto Downtown Main Street’s ongoing efforts to revitalize the downtown district by supporting local businesses, enhancing public spaces, and fostering long-term economic vitality.
“Motor Fest reflects what’s possible when local businesses and community partners come together,” said Karon Dixon, Executive Director of Palmetto Downtown Main Street. “We are grateful for the sponsors who believe in downtown Palmetto and in creating experiences that strengthen our community.”
Motor Fest is free and open to the public.
