Palmetto High School Female JROTC Raider Team Honored for National Championship Victory
The Palmetto High School Female JROTC Raider Team was celebrated by the School Board on Tuesday for their outstanding achievement at the 2024 JROTC National Raider Challenge. The team earned the National Championship title during the October 24-27 competition at Fort Knox, Kentucky, where they triumphed over more than 200 high school teams from across the United States.
The championship team comprised Stephanie Quintero-Hernandez (team captain), Estefany Blas-Perez, Mia Vargas-Gonzalez, Daphne Corona, Cindy Perez-Gonzalez, Mishmaella Olivier, Nina Velazquez, Escarlet Arenas, Emily Tovar-Romo, Faith Ramirez, Elise Jacobs, Debora Argueta, Allison Tripp, Neida Perez-Ramos, and Dell Delany. Chief Warrant Officer 4 (Retired) John Edmond guided the team's success.
This achievement highlights the dedication and skill of the cadets, solidifying Palmetto High School's place among the top JROTC programs in the nation.
