Palmetto Marriott & Kappa Alpha Psi Sarasota Chapter Host Inaugural Community Easter Egg Hunt at the Beach Club

Palmetto, FL – On Saturday, April 19th, the Palmetto Marriott welcomed more than 400 guests for a day of springtime celebration at the resort’s Beach Club for the inaugural Easter Egg Hunt & Community Day, co-hosted with the Sarasota Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi. This special event marked the first time the Beach Club was opened to the public for a complimentary community gathering, and the response from Bradenton and Palmetto residents was overwhelming.

Guests arrived by the charming SRQ Trolley, which transported families from the front of the Palmetto Marriott down to the Beach Club, where they were greeted with beautiful views, festive décor, and a full slate of Easter-themed activities. The highlight of the day was the Easter Egg Hunt, which drew excitement from kids of all ages. Over 25 children received Easter baskets as prizes, with plenty of smiles and photo ops to go around. The event featured free food, family-friendly activities, arts and crafts, and more—all offered at no cost to the community.

Ashley, a Bradenton local, shared, "We are having so much fun! The property is so beautiful, and this is a great event for the community." Courtney and Nick from Palmetto echoed the excitement, saying, "Our son loves it all—doing the arts and crafts and all the things you had planned! This is our first time at the Palmetto Marriott, but it won’t be our last. We want to come and do a staycation next!"

This year’s turnout was beyond expectations, and while the event was first-come, first-served, the Palmetto Marriott and its partners worked diligently to accommodate everyone who attended.
