Palmetto Downtown Main Street is inviting downtown business owners and prospective entrepreneurs to take part in a Palmetto Power Hour focused on strengthening the city’s downtown business community.
The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Calusa Construction, 433 10th Ave. W. in Palmetto.
Organized by Palmetto Downtown Main Street’s Economic Vitality Committee, the gathering is designed to give local business owners and entrepreneurs an opportunity to discuss challenges, share ideas and identify resources that could support downtown growth.
Organizers plan to use the discussion to identify some of the biggest barriers facing downtown businesses and develop a targeted list of three to five initiatives for 2027. The goal is to build stronger connections among businesses, property owners and available community resources.
The Power Hour will focus on four areas: sharing challenges, shaping solutions, building connections and strengthening downtown Palmetto.
The meeting is intended for current downtown business owners as well as prospective entrepreneurs interested in becoming part of the downtown business community.
