Paradise Minis Launch Youth Soccer Program for Young Children in Lakewood Ranch
A new youth soccer opportunity is kicking off in eastern Manatee County as the Sarasota Paradise partners with Lakewood Ranch Community Activities to introduce the Paradise Minis program for children ages 7 and under.
Designed to focus on fun, development and confidence-building, Paradise Minis offers age-appropriate soccer experiences led by high-energy coaches from Sarasota Paradise. The program brings structured instruction and positive encouragement directly to local parks, creating an accessible and engaging introduction to the sport.
The Parent & Child Program, open to ages 1.5 to 3, provides a playful first step into soccer. Young participants explore movement and basic ball skills through interactive activities designed to strengthen motor development and early social skills. Parents take part alongside their children, creating a shared bonding experience while helping their little athletes build confidence. A jersey is included with registration.
For older children, the Foundational Program serves ages 4 through 7 with a more structured format. Participants work on ball control, coordination and teamwork while developing responsibility and effort in a supportive and energetic setting. The curriculum is designed to balance skill-building with fun, ensuring young players stay engaged as they grow in the game. A jersey is also included for this program.
Organizers describe the initiative as a way to combine big smiles with bigger skills, offering families in Lakewood Ranch an early pathway into youth soccer through a trusted local sports organization.
Registration information and program details are available through Sarasota Paradise and Lakewood Ranch Community Activities online platforms.
