Parrish Civic Association to Host Manatee County Commission Candidate at January Meeting
The Parrish Civic Association will host a candidate forum as part of its January monthly meeting, continuing its mission to keep residents informed and engaged in local civic affairs.
The featured speaker for the January 13 meeting will be Ed Ference, who is running for the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners, At-Large District 6. Ference is scheduled to present his platform and share his vision for Manatee County, giving community members an opportunity to learn more about his priorities and approach to county governance.
According to the association, the event is intended to provide residents with direct access to candidates seeking public office and to encourage informed participation in the local electoral process. Attendees will have the chance to hear about key issues affecting the county, including growth management, environmental protection, fiscal responsibility, education, and community representation.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Media Room at Parrish Community High School, located at 7505 Fort Hamer Road in Parrish. The Parrish Civic Association’s regular board meeting will follow from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Community members are encouraged to attend and take part in the discussion as the association continues its efforts to foster civic awareness and engagement in Parrish and throughout Manatee County
