Parrish to Honor Veterans with Community Celebration and Commemorative Brick Program
The Parrish Civic Association will host a Veterans Day Celebration at Parrish Community Park on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature ceremonies, food trucks, and a parade to honor local veterans and active-duty service members.
As part of the celebration, the association is offering residents the opportunity to purchase engraved commemorative bricks. These bricks will be installed in the park in coordination with Manatee County Government. Bricks purchased for veterans or active military personnel will be placed near the entrance by the flagpole and are available in an 8-by-8-inch size. Bricks honoring loved ones, first responders, medical professionals, businesses, and others will be installed in front of the stage in a 4-by-8-inch size.
The deadline to submit brick orders for engraving is September 9, 2025, ensuring sufficient time for preparation before the event. Prices range from $100 for a 4-by-8-inch brick with text to $150 for an 8-by-8-inch brick with text and a logo. Replica leather coasters engraved with the same design are also available for purchase.
The Veterans Day Celebration will take place at 7550 Fort Hamer Road, Parrish. Proceeds from the brick sales will support the ongoing recognition of service members within the community.
