Public Feedback Sought on Draft 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan
Public Comment Period Open Until September 5
The Sarasota/Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization has unveiled its draft 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan and is inviting residents to review and provide feedback before the plan is finalized. Developed over the past year with extensive community input, the plan outlines transportation priorities and projects aimed at improving mobility, safety, and connectivity for the decades ahead.
The public comment period is open until September 5, 2025. Residents can view the plan and submit comments online at www.mympo.org/2050-lrtp-public-comment-page. The MPO encourages participation to ensure the final plan reflects the needs and priorities of the community.
