Purple Alert Issued for Missing Endangered Senior in Bradenton

Authorities are searching for a missing endangered senior who walked away from his Bradenton home Monday afternoon.

Roberto Ceballos Ramirez, 74, was reported missing after leaving his residence in the 900 block of Tidewater Shores Loop at approximately 2 p.m., according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Officials said Ramirez has underlying medical conditions that may cause disorientation or delusions, raising concerns for his safety.

Ramirez is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white button-up collared shirt, tan shorts and brown slip-on shoes.

Bradenton police officers are actively canvassing the surrounding area as part of the search effort.
